Frequently Asked Questions
Do you only provide services to men?
I specialize in men’s issues and founded my practice to address the barriers that prevent men from reaching their highest potential. One of these barriers includes seeking out therapy to begin with. Many men feel they cannot open up to their loved ones and have felt unheard by previous therapists. Or they feel there is a stigma attached to individual therapy. I offer a judgement-free therapy room for these men so they can feel comfortable in expressing their feelings, desires, goals, and thoughts.
With that being said, I welcome a consult to anyone wishing to start therapy services - or performance coaching. Following a consultation, if any potential client feels my therapy style is not a good fit for them I would be more than happy to refer them to one of my colleagues that can better suit their mental health needs.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. In addition to in-person sessions, I can offer online sessions through my secure telehealth platform.
Do you take insurance?
While I’m not paneled with any insurance network, I work with Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. To see if you qualify for reimbursement, you can click here.
If you qualify, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed once your deductible is met. They have helped people get thousands of dollars back per year. You can sign up using this link.
Note: Mentaya's goal is to save you time and money. It's completely optional, and as your therapist I do not benefit in any way from your participation.
do you offer services if i live outside of california and Nevada?
I am able to provide high-performance coaching services to individuals residing anywhere in the United States via my confidential telehealth platform. However, I am only able to provide mental health/individual therapy services for people residing in California and Nevada due to licensing requirements and regulations for mental health professionals.
For individual therapy services I can provide services in-person and via telehealth for those residing in California. For clients in Nevada I am only able to provide telehealth services except for the days I am in my Las Vegas office.
Do you operate physical offices?
I have a private office in the beautiful Playhouse Village neighborhood of Pasadena, CA where I have in-person sessions with clients.
I also operate an office in the US Bank Building in Las Vegas, NV. I primarily offer telehealth services to my clients residing in Nevada, but can occasionally meet in person when I am working out of that office. I am typically there once a month during the first week of the month.
